Knee pain is a common problem that some riders may encounter during lessons. The most common cause is too little resistance on the bike. When pedaling without sufficient resistance, you strain your joints more than necessary. So don't be afraid to increase the resistance next time—you'll see that the pain will go away.

Cycling is actually very gentle on the joints and does not put as much strain on the knees because pedaling is smooth and shock-free. In addition, the more you strengthen the surrounding knee muscles, including the quadriceps, the better your joints and ligaments will function.

So don't be afraid to step slightly outside your comfort zone and add some resistance. Properly adjusted resistance will not only protect your knees, but also help improve your overall stability and performance. Your body will thank you!
